Testimonials

My favorite subject is reading, because I get to read more interesting stories and do fun things with my vocabulary words.

Orientation and Assessment

The Ohio Education and Development Center believes that each teacher should become a diagnostician and be able to prescribe interventions to meet the needs of individuals in their classrooms. In order to best equip the CLLIP participants for this task a day long orientation includes:

  • An overview of the professional development sequence of CLLIP training;
  • Small group instruction on how to administer and score DIBELS and the Woodcock-Johnson III Test of Achievement Picture Vocabulary for kindergarten through third grade;
  • Teachers in fourth through sixth grades, receiving training in administration and scoring of the Woodcock-Johnson III Test of Achievement Basic Reading Battery (Picture Vocabulary, Letter/Word Identification, Passage Comprehension, and Reading Fluency).
