FluencyA research-based approach to building student fluency, written in collaboration with Tim Rasinski, Ph.D., and Nancy Padak, Ph.D. The CLLIP Fluency Professional Development Session is a daylong training session where teachers are introduced to the specific components of fluency including: phrasing, expression/volume, smoothness, and pace, as well as specific modeling strategies to build students decoding and fluency skills. As part of the resource binder, teachers are also provided with model lessons, poems, speeches, and reader's theater selections that allow them to begin lesson plan construction with the assistance of the CLLIP literacy coaching staff to allow them to return to their classrooms and begin using immediately! |
